Faunal Isotopes Database Information

Are you looking for somewhere to share your published stable isotope data on faunal remains? The Faunal Isotopes Database (FID) within the Neotoma Paleoecology Database offers a way to store and share data in a secure, accessible format.

Data entered into the FID are open access and there is no charge to either upload or retrieve data. They must have been published in a peer reviewed article or be currently in review.

A webinar took place on Zoom, Friday October 30th, at 10AM-12PM, EST. You can view a recorded version on YouTube.

Neotoma uses the program Tilia for data entry. A workshop for tjhose interested in learning Tilia and serving data stewards will be organized in 2021. Watch this space!

If you would like to submit your data to the FID, please download the excel-based Tilia Template and Read Me. You can email completed templates to sepbirch [at] uga.edu and mveres [at] uga.edu.
